In my free time, I like to do things with my hands. Earth, stained glass, painting, DIY. I try, I learn, I start again.
Painting is my first relationship with art. As a child, on vacation, my grandfather made us put touches of color on the ground and we rode on it with bicycles, abstract without knowing it. That freedom, I kept.
Ceramics and pottery is where it all started. Working with clay is concrete, physical, immediate.
Stained glass is about playing with light. Assembling pieces of coloured glass to make them say something.
Recover, transform, assemble, give new life to materials.
So far I work on small pieces. But I'm increasingly drawn to larger formats, mixing materials and styles.
